I am not sure if I have posted about it before, but during the week I watch two little boys while staying home with the girls. Hudson, I had last school year, he started coming to the house when he was only 6 weeks old, now he is about to turn 14 months. Chase started spending his days with us last month, he is 4 months old today.
Lillian and Claire have been around little ones now since they were 19 months old, so really, as long as they can remember and then some. Because of that, they are always very sweet and gentle with babies. When there is a baby at the gym daycare they know not to touch, unlike the other kids their age, who stand around poking at the baby.
They love to be helpers at home with the younger ones. Sometimes it is helping and other times, well, they are not helping and causes extra work for me. That's alright though, because they are so proud of themselves when they have a hand on the bottle, put out toys, clean them up, or anything else they think is helpful.
There are also times, though, when the girls get upset when smaller hands grab at their toys, pull on their blankets, or are in their way.
Here are a couple pictures of Lillian's kitty and monkey she snuggled into the bouncer with her blanket. She then took the bottle I just finished feeding Chase and offered it to her animals.
