St. Louis

Two weekends ago, we spent the weekend in St. Louis visiting two of Josh's sisters and their families. We haven't seen everyone since March, so it was great spending time there and catching up. During this trip, we also had the chance to finally meet our newest niece, Hadley who just turned 4 months old.
We left Friday afternoon as soon as school was over for the girls and myself. My tired little ladies both passed out in the car and slept the last half of the trip. It was wonderful!

Friday night when we arrived we spent the evening chatting and the girls loved playing with their cousin Kaiden. I really wish I took pictures of them. The girls had a sleep over in Kaiden's room and they were up chatting way too late and ended up waking up the following morning way too early. Isn't that how it always works out?
Saturday morning we loaded up and headed to the St. Louis Zoo for the day. It was our first time visiting this zoo and some how we left feeling like we didn't get to see that many animals. I guess three preschool aged girls slow down the five adults and one infant. We took many breaks for tired little legs, food and a melt down or two. All that being said, we had a great day and it was perfect weather for walking around.

Claire asked to snuggle baby Hadley and was so excited for her turn. She was a natural.
