Saturday Morning

This past Saturday we spent the morning at the park. We have had so much rain lately and everyone has been couped up inside the house, we needed to get out and run. As soon as we pulled into the parking lot, both of the girls got so excited and couldn't wait to get out of the car. They ran right to the swings, but didn't want to sit, just push. 

 The had a blast chasing birds and giggled when they flew away.

 We climbed like monkeys, but Lillian did not want to go down the slides. 

Claire, on the other hand, loved them!

There is a beautiful garden area off the path from the playground. The both loved walking through the arches full of lilac blooms and over to the beautiful waterfall.  

                                             

I didn't realize this until we were walking along the path and I was looking at all the carved stones, it is a memorial garden for children who have become angels too early.  Some children were teenagers and some were born and passed on the same day. It certainly is a very special place and made me give extra hugs to Lillian and Claire.

They had so much fun and I love these little family outings on a still cool spring morning.
